 What are the major stages when buying? 
 
 Stage 1 – your offer is accepted – preliminary legal work collecting information/complying with formal legal and professional rules. Stage 2 – receiving and checking all the paperwork. Stage 3 – “exchanging contracts” – making the deal legally enforceable. Stage 4 – completing the deal (i.e. the day you move in).
